Motivation is one of the hardest things to acquire in our weight loss journey. We make excuses to ourselves to feel better but excuses don’t help in the long run. Here are some solutions to the excuses we make.
1. I am too busy-
We always find time for our important things even in our busy schedule, so make exercise also a preference, even 10-15 mins of a walk or a workout is better than nothing. Next time you are on your phone or binging Netflix for hours, get up and go for a walk.
2. I am too tired-
You may be tired but after exercising or working out you will be more energized and refreshed. Exercise helps in reducing fatigue in the long run.
3. I am too old to exercise or lose weight-
There is no perfect age or time to start exercising. It is never too late to start your fitness journey. If you have some health problems, talk to your doctor about a safe exercise routine.
4. I hate exercising-
Exercise doesn’t mean only going to the gym and sweating, you can find an activity or routine that you love and enjoy like dancing, hiking, biking, gardening, walking while listening to music. So, modify your favorite hobby into exercise.
5. Exercise is too difficult-
Again you don’t have to do rigorous and long workouts to build up your strength and fitness. You can build your strength and fitness by doing your favorite sport like swimming, golfing, running, or chores around the house, etc.
So stop making excuses and start your fitness journey now.
Which excuse do you think you will stop making now?
