Recipe by: Crys Vaughn @CrysKitchen
Ingredients:
2 pounds cubed Beef (such as chuck or stir fry)
1 tablespoons Cooking Oil or butter
1/2 Onion (chopped)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1/2 Green Bell Pepper (chopped)
1/2 Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 table spoon onion powder
1/2 cup water or Beef Broth
a few dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
Pack of dry brown gravy mix ( I use pioneer)
Serving
Rice or Mashed Potatoes
Now Let’s Cook
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet with a lid on medium heat, add beef salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, chopped onions and bell peppers. Cook until veggies begin to soften. Add minced garlic and cook about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
Once meat is completely browned add a few dashes of Worcestershire Sauce and stir. Move meat mixture to one side of skillet and add broth or water and 1/4 to 1/2 pack of the dry brown gravy mix whisk until there are no lumps.
Stir well and cover skillet and bring to a simmer.
Simmer on low for 20 - 25 minutes, or until beef is tender and (the longer it is cooked, the more tender it becomes) Note: If gravy becomes too thick, stir in more water or broth
Let's Eat,
