The Largest HBCU College Fair in the Nation Returns with More Opportunities, Disney Magic, and Unforgettable Moments.
The HBCU Week Foundation is back at Walt Disney World Resort for its second year, for its second year, and this time, it's bigger than ever! Get ready to mark your calendars for October 23-24 as the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida, transforms into a hub of opportunity and excitement for high school students from across the country.
In collaboration with Walt Disney World Resort, the HBCU Week Foundation is gearing up for an event that promises to surpass even last year’s incredible turnout. With more than 8,000 high school students expected to attend, this year’s college fair will be one of the foundation’s largest to date. Students will have the chance to connect with over 40 HBCUs, with some institutions offering on-the-spot admissions and four-year scholarships worth millions of dollars.
Disney Magic and More: The event isn't just about college admissions—it's also about creating unforgettable memories. Expect a VIP reception, and a host of Disney magic, including appearances by beloved characters, live entertainment, and surprise moments that only Disney can deliver. It's a unique blend of educational opportunity and enchantment.
Ashley Christopher, founder of the HBCU Week Foundation, expressed her gratitude for Disney’s support: “I am incredibly grateful to Walt Disney World Resort for its unwavering support in providing high school students with the opportunity to participate in one of the largest college fairs in the nation. Their commitment not only opens doors to HBCUs but also paves a path towards a debt-free education for these bright young minds.”
Beyond the college fair, the foundation is reinforcing its mission with a recent $1 million grant aimed at supporting HBCUs and guiding students from high school to successful careers.
