'Games People Play' Star Karen Obilom Reveals Which Character Is The 'Best Game Player'

People love to play games, and we'll see all the games being played on the hit series, Games People Play, currently airing on BET on Tuesday Nights.

The second season is all about love, loyalty, and lies picking up with Marques (Sarunas Jackson) and Vanessa (Lauren London) learning the paternity of their new child as he struggles to find his

footing on and off the court. Things also heat up this season as Nia’s (Karen Obilom) investigation into a secret society jeopardizes her relationship with MJ (Kendall Kyndall) and Laila (Parker McKenna Posey).

The series will welcome a new player as Karrueche Tran joins the cast the season as Eden Lazlo, the LA Vipers owner’s daughter and newly named VP of basketball operations, who further complicates Marques King’s love life. The series also has a star-studded ensemble cast with Vanessa Bell Calloway, Vanessa Simmons, Shaun Robinson, Kevin Jackson, Barry Brewer, and Monti Washington to reprise their recurring roles, with Cynthia Bailey, Nazanin Mandi, Ro Parrish, Hitman Holla, Leon, and Calvin Seabrooks to guest star in the ten-episode drama.

Your Voice Media correspondent Ty Cole chatted with the series regulars about the new season, with Obilom revealing which character she feels is the "best game player" of the bunch.

"I got the answer. The best player is definitely MJ. He does what he needs to do and isn't to be stopped," she said. "I feel I am very self-reflective, so I would say my character Nia can up her game in many ways."

McKenna Posey chimed in the conversation and called the chapter of this season "The Evolution," expressing how the cast has had a "mini glow-up this season."

Make sure to see the drama the characters get into on "Games People Play" every Tuesday night at 10/9c.
